Rutile Quartz

  • Rutilated Quartz

Rutilated Quartz is a variety of quartz that contains inclusions of rutile, a mineral composed of titanium dioxide (TiO2) with small amounts of impurities, which give them their characteristic color. The most common impurities are iron, chromium, and niobium. These impurities modify the color of the rutiles, which can range from yellow to red, brown, black, green, and even purple.
These inclusions are visible in the form of acicular crystals, meaning resembling fine needles in the structure of quartz, giving this stone a distinctive appearance and creating unique patterns in each one.

Discover this natural stone in all its forms: tumbled stones, raw or polished, as well as in the form of jewelry, pendants, etc.
